Born on 24.06.1948 in Fossano (Cuneo). Further to his background in economics, he spent 4 years studying Political Sciences at the State University of Milan and, in 1972, he attended a Master's course where he prepared his thesis on 'The Marketing Plan in a Paper Industry'. His professional career began in IMEXCO SpA Paper Company where he held the position of Assistant to the General Manager until 1978; when he became Director in the Export Division of FABOCART SpA; for some years he had marketing responsibility for the sales of Pulp and Newsprint paper for the accounts of important European producers; following which he was appointed Sales and Marketing Director of the MONDADORI SpA Paper Division. In 1990 he founded Sunpaper, whose activity is entirely devoted to the sales of Paper and Board for the Italian market, as a representative of foreign suppliers. He speaks English, French, Spanish and German. With more than 30 years experience, he has built up a reputation in the global paper and pulp business. |
